RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel) invites sealed Open Tenders for
the work of “Fencing, Flooring, Concrete columns, miscellaneous works, around
pre fabricated shelters for housing STM-16 equipments in Reaches I& 11 as
under:-
Reach: I : At Doddaballapur, Hosur, Dharmapuri and Maddur Stations
of Bangalore Division of SW Railway
: Value Rs.3,99,313/- EMD Rs.9,990/-
Reach:II:
At Akkihebbalu, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subramanya Road and Kabakaputtur of Mysore
Division of S.W. Railway.
Value: Rs.4,87,956/- EMD: Rs.10,000/- Details

Cost of tender documents Rs.550/-,( Rs.650/- if required to be sent by post) for
each Reach separately, payable by DD, drawn in favour of RailTel Corporation Limited,
Secunderabad. | (1)
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of Deputy General Manager, RailTel
Corporation of India Ltd., DRM’s Office Building, Adjacent to City Railway Station,
Bangalore-560 023 during working hours upto 18:00 hrs on 25 /4/2006 (2) Only such
contractors executing civil works and have executed at least one civil work to
a tune of 50% of the tender value in the last two financial years (2003-2004&
2004-2005), are eligible. (3) The offers can be dropped in the tender box kept
for this purpose from 10 hrs to 15:00 hrs on the date of opening. (i.e 26/4/2006).
Or can be sent by POST/courier TO REACH THIS OFFICE BY 15.00HRS ON 26.4.2006.(4)
The offers will be opened at 15:30 hrs on 26/4/2006 in the presence of tenderers
who choose to be present. (5) If the date of opening is declared as holiday, on
any account the tender shall be opened on the next working day. (6) Tender Notice
and documents is also available at web site www-railtel India.com. The tenderer
should enclose cost of tender document along with the tender , when downloaded
from the above website through D.D. Otherwise, the tender will be summarily rejected. Further
