In our country, nearly 70 per cent of the population lives in rural areas. With the rapid expansion of digital infrastructure, Digital face of Urban India is changing and opening more doors of growth for Urban population. But the digital infrastructure in rural India is yet to see the desired expansion creating a stark Digital divide between Urban and Rural India. This is affecting the overall growth of the country.

It is time when we need to formulate strategies to bridge the digital divide and spread "Digital Literacy" for “Social Inclusion".
